TN: 2004 Clos D'Agon, 2005 Texier Brezeme VV, 2004 Pago del Ama Collecion, 2004 Soumade Fleur

2004 Clos D’Agon - This needs time but I think will be a fairly remarkable wine. I also love getting some good Peter Sisseck juice for prices other than Pingus! An interesting bordeaux-esque experiment in Emporda that has big fruit but is currently covered up by very gritty tannin…

2005 Texier Brezeme VV - All I get from this is cranberry juice - I have it decanting right now and will be having it with dinner tonight and will report back more - I am very excited about this wine

2004 Pago del Ama Collecion - this wine has flashes of greatness but desperately needs decanting. If decanted properly this could be a superstar. The sediment is just out of control and the wine is extremely cloudy if it doesn’t settle down…Still quite tannic but the fruit is not overpowering…reminds me of a very dirty Rhone wine…

2004 Soumade Fleur du Confiance - FRUIT BOMB…I can’t imagine anyone not liking this wine. Not sure how 2004 was as a vintage for this producer but if this wine is any indicator I think I may pick up a few of the 2005’s as well…this is big, big, big…
