Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of cedar, tobacco, currants, plums and a dash of white pepper. Flavors of berries and cherries laced over a slightly earthy finish. Later picked up a whisper of mocha on the medium finish. Bright acidity, firm tannins, medium to full body. Hold. (90 pts.)
