2004 Château Lascombes - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Margaux (8/7/2009)
Dark purple, nose of vanilla and dark fruit. In the mouth this is just a big tannic not ready to drink monster! Better with some air but never came around. If you open this now let it breath for hours!! No score due to the fact that this wine was so not ready to drink!

Thanks for the note Sean.
I have a few of these and have seen a few notes indicating they were good to go. I’ve considered opening one recently, but maybe I’ll wait a bit and drink some older stuff first.
Bruce,
I pulled it out because of the notes on CT and I have several of the '03’s and they are not near ready. Took it to dinner and it was not just me that thought it was not ready or even close to being ready to drink… I can say that this big boy is in no way shape or form Bordeaux like. It was big enough to be confused with a Napa Cab!!!
I really enjoyed a bottle of this a few months back.
