    Plastic cork. Leather and other notes make this smell like an aged Bordeaux variety based wine. More rustic notes intermixed with juicy raspberry fruit before a tart finish. I really like this for the price. Gives some classic rustic notes and aged wine qualities among some fruit with some oomph for not a lot of money. A great value.

Zactly. Seems like they are getting some decent fruit that would stand up to a few more years in bottle but not going to risk that with plastic corks. Shouldn’t have let this one go that long.
