TN: 2003 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Westside Roads Neighbors

Nose of mushrooms, wet forest floor. This is still drinking well with smooth tannins and red/blue fruit and a medium acid core. Alcohol is listed at 14.3% but I would have never guessed that.

Is there another Russian River Pinot aging as well as Williams Selyem? 92+ points

I tasted an 09 WS WRN earlier in the week that was excellent.

In terms of RRV Pinot aging, my money (and cellar) is on Rochioli. Dehlinger seems to age very nicely.

Nice note Dale. Unfortunately, I never seem to allow the WS stuff in my cellar to age quite that long. Nice to hear they have the ability to hold up. Perhaps someday, I will experience that!

In my experience Dehlinger really gets going at about that age. 1997-2002 are really good (and maybe older ones, but unfortunately I can’t verify that).
