2003 Herb Lamb Cabernet Sauvignon E II Red Herb Lamb Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (8/27/2009)
Lovely dark color, toasty nose, marachino cherry, raw meat, pine forest, new shoe leather, red currant jam and touch of sage. This is a well built, medium bodied wine that is drinking well right now, it may be a touch young as the tannins a bit biting at first. The finish is a little shorter than I hoped for and would garner another point or two if it were a bit longe. Drink now or hold for a year or two. (90 pts.)
