2003 Havens Wine Cellars Bourriquot - USA, California, Napa Valley (12/30/2009)
Many have complained of brett in this wine. I had 2 bottles over Xmas and found not a bit – earthy, slightly funky, yes. Instead I found a medium weight, balanced and very nice Bordeaux style Napa red. Some integrated oak. Tannins remain but it’s drinking well. Some spice and game. Well done and might get better. (90 pts.)
