Dusty earth, sweet black cherries, sagebrush, black pepper and oregano on the nose. Dark color for Grenache. Light and fruit filled on the attack with lots of bright red strawberry and raspberry fruit, but intense mid palate and finish with lots of peppery black fruit and dusty tannins. A really intriguing old vine wine from an area with which I am not familiar, Cotes Catalanes in the Languedoc.
