FWIW, this wine was a Parker 94… a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache, Cab and Merlot.

This opens with Cabernet varietal character but within an hour or so that and all other character blows off. A completely innocuous, pleasant, balanced red wine, ripe red fruit, a bit of structure, some oak, very little complexity. Not bad but this would be better in a party situation, focusing less on the wine and it’s lack of character/complexity.
