2003 Bleasdale Frank Potts- Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, Langhorne Creek (8/13/2014)
The best bottle I’ve opened from this case. Still deep, dark red with little color change. Palate of black fruit and cedar. The tannins are still there but starting to integrate. The acidity was good. At least 10-15 years of good drinking left. (92 pts.)
Hi John
This label is a long time favourite of ours, though I don’t believe we currently have any bottles. It’s a wine I’ve enjoyed with moderate age 5-10 years say, but actually find it pretty cimpkex on release - which I always put down to the dog’s dinner of grape varieties in the blend!
Regards
Ian
Ian, I’ve had some bottle variation with this case over the past few years. One was corked, and another had high VA that never completely blew off. This one absolutely rocked. I have two left in the case, so I’ll probably wait a few years on those.
