2002 Taittinger Champagne Brut Millésimé - France, Champagne (10/8/2011)
Golden straw color with a fine bead and mousse. A high top note of bright lemon, with bread, nuts, white fruits and flowers, apples, and a hint of caramel on the nose. Creamy lemon with baked granny smith apple on the palate. Pretty tasty. This wine had an overall sort of creamy/caramelly aspect to it that was enjoyable yet did not lead me to believe that it had the stuffing to age particularly. Nevertheless, good stuff to drink while my other 02s are ageing.
