2002 Siduri Pinot Noir Rosella’s Vineyard - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Lucia Highlands (9/2/2009)
Opened this tonight to watch Top Chef and the Dodgers game. This is rocking and rolling…the nose is very CA Pinot with crancherry, spice, and earth with a little crushed wet rock and cola/beet root. The palate is full bodied but not heavy, with crancherry, spice/pepper/grapefruit, orange peel, wet rock…medium length finish…really digging this Pinot Noir. It is still drinking very young…nicely balanced. (92 pts.)
