Passover visit to Mom’s house. Light purple in color. A beautiful match with the lamb. Superb balance in this wine, the characteristic that first drew me in to the Saxum wines. This is what every new world wine should strive for - a balance of high levels of very ripe warm climate fruit mixed with old world elegance and refinement. 50+13+13+9+9 = 94 (94 pts.)
