2002 Peter Michael Les Pavots - USA, California, Sonoma County, Knights Valley (12/11/2009)
Now this is singing. Had the 2001 with another board member, it was not like this bottle. Dark ruby, still had herbal and lead pencil notes that I think come with the same high percentage of cab franc(10%) as the 2001 but this was much more fruit forward and bursting with ripe cabernet )

…a bit of bordeaux with Napa Valley fruit.

Ki - I had that over thanksgiving and it was indeed drinking very well. Blew the Dalla Valle’s off the table.

I really like Les Pavots in most vintages. A really refined wine…at least to my sensibilities.
