    I don’t know why people think this co-op produces mediocre wines…everyone I’ve had has been a huge qpr! This '02 4chaume is no exception. Reminds me a lot of the 2002 Grande Cuvée…chalky limestone, lemons and minerals, some green apples/peaches, little Champagne-like toast and ginger ale. As it opens…great seashell saltiness and funk…cut by citrus acidity…yet well rounded with bright fruit. Perfect balance of spice, minerals, and some creamy oak. Another killer…cheap…rockin Chablis from La Chablisienne! You guys keep bashing…and I’ll keep buyin! (93 pts.)

Nice note Buzz! I still have a couple of those 2002’s that Costco had on blow-out… Need to pull the cork on one!
