    Ripe blackberry, plum, leather and bacon with still prominent oak. Full bodied, well structured and still has the acid and tannin to continue. Not getting the heat others mention. Doesn’t hit it like the '97 did but all things considered this was a steal for @ $18. Have had a lot less for a lot more. Great addition to our pizza tonight.

Great to hear on the '97! We’ve got just about 2 cases left of multiple vintages from '96 to 2003 of Paras. What well made wines. Great to see someone else is still enjoying these!

Not surprised that this is still going strong, Brian. This was a wine made by DougDanielak…back before the JadeMtn label was sold
by JimParas. He kept his vnyd on MtVeeder and Doug made his wine under the ParasVnyd label. I think ParasVnyd is no
longer producing wine & don’t know who owns the vnyd now. Doug&Mary now make their wine under the PontNeuf label.
Doug’s a very talented winemaker.

That’s too bad. I’ve found all the Jade Mtn Syrahs to be very enjoyable and quite ageable. Am now down to a single bottle of '04.

Bone, that '97 kills it. Tegan called it an epiphany wine for him. Try one!
