2002 Domaine Trapet (Jean et Jean-Louis) Chambertin - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambertin Grand Cru (8/30/2017)
Takes a while to get going but a really good drink, perhaps not quite as good though as the '01. Has notes of meat, musk, dried flowers, menthol and black cherries. It is full, rich, sweet and layered. There’s just a hint of coffee and tannins are round and sweet. It has excellent depth and length.
