2002 Domaine Michel Gros Vosne-Romanée - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Vosne-Romanée (8/17/2009)
Sappy, ripe red fruits meld with dusty earth and twinges of animale and spice. Good concentration and good balance, with a moderate length and a bit of dusty / slightly dry tannin remaining. This doesn’t necessarily really say Vosne to me, but it does say Cotes de Nuits. It is enjoyable now (from 375) and should improve further.
