NOSE: expressive; lots of mineral tones; medium-strong petrol; tart apple; green pear; faint hints of baking spices.

BODY: color is still pale yellow — I’ll call it a rich pale yellow; medium-full to full bodied; no spritz.

TASTE: 8.5% alc.; medium+ acidity; somewhat light mouthfeel and low level of sweetness for an Auslese. DAY 2: hollow on mid-palate, and weak finish; a fantastic QPR @ $17, but I would stop short of calling this an excellent wine. Gut impression score: 88
