TN: 2001 Truchot Clos de la Roche

On the nose, lovely persistent floral aromas. On the palate, pure, elegant red fruit (plum, cherry?) and herbal notes, with a pleasant minerality. Long finish. Beautiful wine.

that’s good drinking there Randy! See you @ Figeac

Le Culte de Jacky definitely has a solid grounding, Faryan!

I’m definitely looking forward to the Figeac do-dah.

[welldone.gif] Great wine. Truchot’s Clos de la Roche has long been my favorite of his wines and this is an outstanding one. Drinking well, I see.

Thanks for the note. Still plan to sit on mine for a while. One of the happiest purchases I ever made, even though I haven’t drunk any of my bottles yet.
