2001 San Giusto a Rentennano Percarlo Toscana IGT - Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT (9/4/2009)
Opened this for about 1 1/2 hours prior to drinking to accompany chicken and creamy/cheesy corn. The wine was very nice and nicely balanced. Cherry fruit, vanilla, spice and a little cedar/leather and slight earth characteristic. Good acidity, noticeable but not intrusive tannins. Very enjoyable. (90 pts.)
