It’s been four years since my last bottle of this and this really changed for the better…Traditional CdP through and through. Piercing nose of leather, licorice, and kirsch liqueur. Garrigue, kirsch, licorice and meat juice on the palate. Finishes long and perfectly balanced. Impressive freshness and structure. Has years left to develop, but it drank beautifully tonight. I absolutely loved this. Delicious.

Hi Steffan,

Glad to hear this, since I’d lost faith in this wine. First bottle in September 2006 was completely closed. But since then we’ve tried one or two, and they were fritzy, unpleasant, acidic messes. I thought they were damaged although there was no sign of it. Maybe time to crack another and find out…
