TN: 2001 Joh. Jos. Prüm - Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese - (Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer)

NOSE: incredibly expressive notes of petrol and peach are supported by a slight pineapple and pear aromas. I’d be happy just smelling this wine.

BODY: initial spritz dissipates quickly; golden amber-yellow color; medium-light bodied.

TASTE: apple; pretty one-note/not terribly complex; good minerality; palate not as complex as the nose; very nicely balanced; a bit mouth-watering; fig on finish (40-50 sec.); 8% alc. not noticeable. A very nice Spat. that seems to be in a wonderful place right now.
