TN: 2001 Haut Bages Liberal, Pauillac. Good Cab-dominated fruit with some underlying merlot lushness. Cedar. Tannins still drying of course – its young still – but its drinking well enough to enjoy a bottle for a Left Bank 01. Quite Pauillac in character. A solid wine. 88+ points.
