TN: 2001 Failla Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir

Dug out from the cellar, last bottle of a long time favorite. I never intended to store this for quite this long, but it got buried, so there you go. Appearance is the same cloudy ruby it’s always been, but now with some oranging at the rim. The nose presents cranberry, strawberry, and still that classic Keefer spice, though those spice notes have become much less prominent over the years. Fully resolved tannins, the palate is smooth and rich, with just a bit of alcohol showing through. Certainly on the decline but still drinking well - drink up if you got ‘em!

Not a bad run!
