This was in impeccable shape last night and paired wonderfully with the sushi fare of the evening. The palate is light brioche/lemon zest that finishes with both a fresh zip of acidity and a lingering richness that adds some girth. The assemblage seems to lean towards Chardonnay dominant; I didn’t pick up much spice or red fruit. Overall, a rather impressive bottle from an underrated producer. 91+ pts.
I like their basic NV too. Had it for the 1st time after buying from a store on Rue Cler in Paris. It was a really good value too at sub 30 euros if, I remember right. Not sure what the story behind this producer is. Almost think its negotient.
