I bought a case of this over 6 years ago from Rochambeau in Dobbs Ferry. It was lost underneath a pile of moldy styro cases for a few years, and when I cleaned out the basement I started making my way through the remainder. This wine is very pleasant with complex flavors. The nose is subdued and the color is light. The palate is principally pear with a bit of granny smith apple and some roasted nuts on the back end. There is quite a bit of acidity and the wine tastes very fresh and not tired at all. There is ZERO premox. I gave it an extra point because it only cost me $12.99 or there abouts, but in any event an excellent wine. No wood chips, no excess oak, no butter. (90 pts.)
