2000 Pianpolvere Soprano Barolo Riserva 7 Anni Pianpolvere Soprano Bussia - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo (9/20/2012)
Deep dark color with an extroverted nose of roses, christmas spices, mushrooms, and a whole ot more - I can smell this for a long time. The taste - orange peel, orange marmalade, cherry skins, cloves - in a good way, gripping tannins - lots of life left in this but drinking beautifully now. Other notes - cherries, balanced acidity, just a wonderful finish and a real treat. (95 pts.)
