This was great with a rack of lamb and a New York steak.

  • 2000 La Grange Neuve de Figeac - France, Bordeaux, Libournais, St. Émilion Grand Cru (12/20/2009)
    Classic aromas of cigar and earth with chocolaty plum. Rich palate showing a bit of oak vanilla. Could use a bit more acidity and could probably use more time for the fruit to relax some on the palate. The expressive nose was hard to keep away from though. A terrific value and has a ways to go.
