Much better than the last one I had 1 year ago. It is starting to open up, and I think it will be great with another 5 years or more. It is full of cassis and cedar notes. Has moderate acidity and tannins that are present, but not harsh.
It is very good for what one expects from a St Julien Bordeaux. 92+ points.
Had this earlier this month. Very nice Bordeaux, surprisingly open after an hour decant. Obviously will last a while, but very good now and, for those concerned about modern Bordeaux being untrue to the region, not at all spoofed. Wish I had some in the cellar.
Another wine that I plan to open to celebrate my first Social Security check.

Thanks Otto for the note I have all of the 2nds from 2000.
