My 1st impression was “oak bomb” but after 30 minutes it blew off and I was left with a very nice wine. Nice lush palate and long finish, for a Wa. state wine I have no complaints. Good stuff.
have enjoyed the 96,01,02,03,04. i think i might like these.
I stopped buying a while back and have been drinking them all down, and I have been surprised at how well some have been drinking. They get a lot of oak, and it takes a while for them to integrate. But they do seem to come together very well.
i still have a few 1994’s that are showing really nicely.
