TN: 1999 Rocca delle Macìe Ser Gioveto Toscana IGT (Italy, Tuscany, Toscana IGT)

This was opened first and never improved… poured out after 6 hours. Luckily bottle #2 (Romitorio) was much better (note in another thread because I’m a tard).

  Attrociously bretty, undrinkable – a sweaty, metallic, thin, sewer smelling bottle of fail. GAH. I’m afraid it may have damaged the sink on the way down.

Oh too bad! This wine can be fantastic, and despite being from a bigger producer, is a benchmark Sangiovese in my opinion.
