1999 Pride Mountain Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve - USA, California, Napa Valley (11/29/2008)
Dinner at Rio Churrascaria. Inpenetrable purple in color. Absolutely huge nose upon opening. The kind of bottle you can immediately smell from across the room. Loads of dark fruits. Currants and berries galore. Full bodied, the wine exhibited hard tannins at first but these turned silky with a little time. A perfect wine to drink along side the array of Brazilian meats and one with many great years ahead of it. 50+14+13+9+9 = 95 (95 pts.)
