    A replacement for the corked bottle we opened a week ago. Decanted for about 2 hours. Color is a nice transparent crimson with very slight fading at the rim. The nose shows earth, spice and cherry. Excellent balance on the palate with clean dark berry fruits and a very smooth texture. The wine has no abrasive edges to it at all finishes with good length. (91 pts.)
