1999 Moët & Chandon Champagne Cuvée Dom Pérignon - France, Champagne (12/31/2009)
Starts out pretty sharp with acidity…does it need to open up? Has a sweet almond to the pear, crisp apple, melon fruit…wonderful flint, bread dough, ginger lemon cookies, white truffle oil. Sharp at first, but has a great mousse and lifting citrus finish. A happy Happy New Years wine! (93 pts.)
