    This is what happens when you walk into a well-regarded/managed wine store in West LA…you get the come-ons for things you have never heard of…like this…I think I was in the check-out line and was attracted by the shelf shouter for this 2-year old cab…some well-regarded vintners going the wrong way - get it while our limited supply lasts…seems like a common refrain these days…but back then, of course, it was the dot com melt down!!! Ack! hitsfan

I succumbed, of course, got a whole case. And over the years, it has been quite pleasant and nice…decent for the $10/btl I paid for this stuff. This last was fine for a 9-yr old cab…balanced and all that. Who else opted for this offering, I wonder… [scratch.gif]

I am sure there are other Cabs that were pushed out during that financial meltdown. Heh…where are those brave souls who bought them and NEVER entered them into CT!!!
I suspect the principals of this winery are long gone…these days I suspect others will be following toot sweet, given the similarity to the last financial crash! (88 pts.)

Meanwhile, polished off the last half of the prior nite’s 2006 AP Vin Garys’ while drinking this…where has the nose gone on this??? Two nites in a row, fer chrissakes. A Garys’ without a big-time nose is like a day without…shit, I dunno! [shock.gif]
