Please take this as constructive criticism, no disrespect intended whatsoever (lots of subtleties are lost on the Interwebs): whether you mean to or not, it looks like you’re shilling your blog rather than participating in this community. I write TNs and other things on my blog and I have a link at the bottom of my sig. If folks want to click through, have at it, but I’ll post my TNs here as well so I can see folks’ reactions and respond accordingly. Don’t discount the many folks who might click on a post but not comment either.
This is a new community, and I feel that by posting TNs here and not elsewhere with links we are building it and improving it.

One major difference between your blog and mine is that you have lots of other content that never makes it to this site that folks can look forward to reading if they visit your site. In my case, 100% of my content will be displayed right here in full without anything held back (I don’t do anything other than tasting notes). Don’t you think that if I did this across all major bbs it would make my blog more or less obsolete? The only way I can get away with that is if I do it on one board and none of the others.
Hi Steffen, I have had the same thoughts in the past since my blog is only notes as well (more or less). I see your point, and I feel that having your tn here as well as on your blog surely will get wider read. In the future I may migrate my blog elsewhere so the posted links would be obselete before my blog…Cheers!

Never done them side by side. I do have both versions in 2000 and have been meaning to make a blind comparison at some point.
