1999 Araujo Estate Syrah Eisele Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (1/6/2010)
Decanted one hour, enjoyed over 2. Wonderful mature nose, incredibly similar to my last bottle, leather, earth, florals. Understated elegance in the mouth, nice balance of dark fruits, smoked meats, herbs. Shows that well made, well balanced California syrahs can age beautifully.
