1998 Château Lynch-Bages - France, Bordeaux, Médoc, Pauillac (2/5/2012)
Superbowl wine, served with ribs and chicken. Nose of blackberries, forest and cedar. The initial impression is a burst of sweet fruits - black currants and cherries define the palate of this wine, with some well integrated notes of tar and cedar and some bracing acidity. The wine starts very soft \and strengthens through the finish, revealing the remaining tannins. Nice wine - in a nice place. I think I’ll drink my remaining bottle soon.
