Took 3 hrs to really open up and get going. Dust, sweet red fruit, rosewater, spice, sous bois on the nose. Good energy and balance with a middleweight, restrained mouthfeel.A bit of tannin certainly remains but in a good place for drinking and can easily go another 5-8 years if not further. Tasty and was absolutely worth the 33 bones it set me back. (92 pts.)
