Very Bordeaux like nose - earth, cedar, tobacco and graphite with a nice restrained blackberry fruit. Nice blackberry fruit on the attack, some sour cherry and blackberry fruit on the finish - but the palate lacks the complexity of the nose. Tannins are fully resolved and I thnk this may be as good as it gets. Nice, but not as good as some other vintages from the Smith brothers
