MY GOD…what a wine! This is EXACTLY what I want my Italian wines to taste like. Beautiful fresh crushed berries, dried cherry/cranberries…dusty cedar tannins, earth/cinnamon stick spice, old leather, chocolate orange zest, some Indian spice as well…BUT BUT BUT, the FLORALS are what is AMAZING! Beautiful potpourri of roses and citrus blossoms…along with the dried berries and spices are what makes this wine! Super integration of the citrus acid and dusty tannin from the 14yrs of age. Will have no problem going 14 more! (96 pts.)
