Good one last night:

  • 1996 Louis Jadot Beaune Chouacheux Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot - France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Beaune (10/24/2013)
    I really am a fan of what Jadot does with their Beaune wines like this. This smells like aged Burgundy. Earthy and woodsy. It has vibrant fruit still, that’s red fruited with crsip acidity. I’ll say I’m a fan of these '96s over the last year or so. The acid is prominent but it’s starting to be really lovely to me. ymmv
