TN: 1995 Lynch Bages

In the decanter now and it has a nice bouquet [dance-clap.gif]

So far so good.

Here is my TN from 2004 http://dat.erobertparker.com/bboard/showthread.php?t=72701

I’ll post the new TNs later.

The wine is dark with no bricking. Th nose is full of leather, some forest floor, black currant, and anise. The tannins are very dusty but resolved after 2 hours of air. The palate is mostly black currant and anise with an anise finish. The wine paired well with lamb as the structure was a nice foil to the fatty meat. The wine began to fade or close down after 4 hours. It is a very different wine than the LB I had in 2004 (6 years did wonders). The flavors were still primary, but the nose offered hints of mature Bordeuax. I would say in about 3-5 years it will be in a good drinking window.
