Upon opening, slightly dark and seem a bit tired, premoxed? This was another miracle, a great lesson in how white Burgundies get lighter in color and fresher in nose with air. It started with heavy and clumsy tone but got really fresher towards to the end. Very sweet perfectly matured yellow fruit, beeswax, fresh apple, excellent mineral expression, lanoline and etc. The palate displays generous round fruit, noticeable acidity keeps the wine in balance. There was a recent discussion on Wineberserkers regarding the typical nature of CM vs PM. This seems to fit the classic PM mold with nice display of minerality both in nose and palate. A great showing and drinking deliciously. I tasted a glassful that was remained in the bottle and the color got even lighter while not losing any fruits. (93 pts.)
