nose: succulent and nuanced nose of red cherries, dried roses, roasted herbs, bits of spices, and berries. Good depth with a real nice and feminine quality to it
taste: smooth and tasty medium feel with good medium acidity and some good fine grained tannins. Nuanced and lovely tones of red cherries, roasted herbs, bits of star anise, and a touch of berries
overall: this was decanted for about 30 minutes or so to let it breath. Has some browning at the rim and is fairly mature. Took a bit to get going, but has really become a lovely mature brunello (91 pts.)
