1995 Altesino Brunello di Montalcino:
Opened 4 hrs without a decant. At first not showing much but after sitting in the glass this wine really started to shine.
In a teriific place. Dark cherry fruit leathery tertiary tones, everything well balanced. Not a big wine but just out and out delicicious. Wish I had more
The 95 Brunello’s I have had seem to be drinking well
alan, I had this back in april and loved it too. Just a real elegant brunello, and the best thing, this seemed like it should hold well at its current stage for a while

Thanks for the feedback. I agree has some yrs of life yet. What I liked the most about it was it was what I look for in a Brunello that too may seem not to have. “Classic”. “Traditional” Terms we often throw around.
