    This was in terrific condition. The nose has some mildly exotic fruit notes along with a hint of honey, some truffle and toast. It is dense, rich and sappy, with excellent volume and presence. It is powerful and unctuous, finishing with a reduction of grapefruit skin and saline minerality. Once the wine is swallowed there’s a very pleasant suggestion of vanilla.

I have had this '94 a few times Kris and it has never looked better than this bottle. It seemed a little more sweet and exotic last time out. Now it has added some true tertiary development and maintained its freshness. A great bottle.
