1993 Château Haut-Brion - France, Bordeaux, Graves, Pessac-Léognan (8/1/2009)
decanted 2 hours… still quite dark with a little brown showing around the edges… a wonderful Bordeaux nose…lead pencil, tobacco, cedar, some dark plums…very silky mouth feel… still plenty of fruit… well integrated with its tannins …a moderately long, satisfying finish…I think this can go at least 5 years more…served with Flannery’s hanger steak…corn salad…delicious !
