1989 Henri Bonneau Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Marie Beurrier - France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape (4/18/2009)
Dinner with Steve & Barb. Decanted for about 2 hours. Dark purple in the glass and absolutely stunning. Full bodied with the glyceral mouthfeel of great Grenache. The tannins are still quite prominent, but in a very positive way. This is a wine still on the way up to the massive peak it will reach. What a great wine! 50+14+14+9.5+9.5 = 97 (97 pts.)

Isn’t there a way to combine these notes into one post so that the entire first page of the forum isn’t taken up by all these posts?
You’re complaining about too many tasting notes?! I say bring 'em on, the more the better!

Sorry it bothers you that I’m posting too many notes. I’m a big believer in posting notes on individual wines so that there can be serious discussion of a particular wine that creates an archive for those that later want to look back and see what they can find about that wine instead of having it buried in a post that discusses 20 different wines. If you don’t like this just ignore my posts.
It’s not a question of too many notes (there are only so many notes that the human ear can hear - can you name the reference?), or of ignoring your posts, it’s just a question of efficiency. I think it’s easier to read the notes when I don’t have to open a dozen individual posts. And as for archiving, if someone is looking for a note at some point in the future, they’re going to do a search. A search will find the note whether it’s individual or combined with several other notes.
Do what you want, it’s a free forum, just a suggestion to make reading the notes easier.
